日本館的設計理念為“像生命體一樣會呼吸的建筑”，展館各個部分都融入了與環(huán)境共生的智慧與技術。建筑物的外側覆蓋可透光的膜材料，利用太陽能發(fā)電，場館外觀還會隨著陽光與夜景照明的變化變換各種“表情”。
主題：“心之和、技之和”
造型亮點：分為過去、現(xiàn)在、未來3大展區(qū)，形態(tài)融合了日本傳統(tǒng)特色與現(xiàn)代風格。
